For this luxury residential development in Seattle, Ithaca-based artist Jeremy Holmes was commissioned to create a double height wood sculpture flowing up 27’ tall. The sculpture suspends from a mezzanine ceiling down to the ground floor, allowing residents to view the sculpture from the first floor entry, while seeing a new perspective of it from the second floor. The artist works with wood in a unique way - making use of the traditional woodworking technique of soaking and bending - in order to create fluid, abstract forms.
