From Ashley Nardone’s hanging sculpture consisting of more than 300 "paper" airplanes constructed with synthetic materials–in addition to paper airplane homages in the guest rooms–to a custom embroidered maps of Florida by Natalie Ciccoricco, the artwork on-site at Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport playfully nods to it’s airport-adjacent location and adds a layer of bold sophistication with colorful abstractions by Filip Pavlik and Isabella Trimmel that evoke the hotel’s proximity to the Atlantic Ocean.
