As part of the briefing process, the Gensler Design team shared insight to their inspiration with Susan: NYC's Five Points neighborhood, in what is now the Bowery. Seizing on their vision, her concept emerged from the idea of intersection: of nature and industry, people and cultures, old and new, and the vibrancy that these intersections create - similar to the connections LinkedIn's platforms offers its users.
